Do I need a medical background?

No.

Is this for me if I don't share Irene's heritage?

Yes; every student explores her own lineage.

How long does certification take?

3 months total to be pre-certified and 9 months for full certification.

Is it online or in person?

Online with optional in-person workshops when offered based on availability.

How much time per week will I need?

4-6 hours.

Can I really earn an income as a doula?

Yes. $3-5k monthly starting part time.

What does the certification qualify me to do, and is it recognized in my state?

It qualifies and prepares you to support a birthing and postpartum family. In the process of getting approved by Medicaid and DONA, and it exceeds and is aligned with DONA and Medicaid trainings.

What does tuition include, and are payment plans available?

$5,600. Yes, payment plans are accepted.

How big are the cohorts, and when can I start?

Rolling admissions. Start anytime and go at your own pace. You will be added into the Slack community to join the community and to get on the weekly calls.
