Your path to practice
Your Timeline to Certification.
From the moment you feel the call to the day you confidently support your first family — and beyond — the Kindled Pathway gives you the education, mentorship, and real-world experience to thrive as a doula.

Coursework · about 3 months, self-paced
Complete all 12 modules and lesson knowledge checks, then pass your Final Knowledge Assessment.

Initial certification
Submit your foundational requirements (signed ethics & agreements, current CPR, and liability insurance). Receive your Kindled credential — certificate and ID card — and begin serving clients.

Supervised client work
Support real families — a minimum of 3 births and 3 postpartum clients — with documentation, reflections, and evaluations, mentored by Irene every step of the way.

Full certification
Submit your supervised work and required reading. You're now a fully certified Kindled Full-Spectrum Doula. (Recommended within 9 months; you have up to 2 years from the start of your training.)

Recertify every 2 years with continuing education — and keep building the practice and the life you love.
